I am now at 280 miles.
It has used half a quart of oil. It looks like the engine is bad. The seat is also starting to rip at the seams.
Time to take it in for some warranty work.

I am a new Argo scooter owner, and I would like to share my experience with the scooter.

I have the same bike and only have 90 miles on it. I use it to commute to work - 7 miles each way. I drive at about 40-45 mph and never have gone faster. My gas gage also does not work and yesterday I found a huge puddle of gas by it. I am fairly sure the engine is shot. I have not even tried to start it. I bought it from Big Ass Motors in Northridge Cal. Decent owner who sold me on the warrantly. I plan on calling them today to make sure that warranty if honored. I would be curious to hear how your experience goes. I will keep you posted.
My gas gauge also failed, although it's since come back intermittenly. I've come up with a dipstick method of checking the gas level now.
Additionally, today on my way to work the nuts that fasten the exhaust pipe against the exhaust manifold came off. I'm hoping I can make it to store for new nuts before doing any damage to the engine.
Yikes. That doesn't sound so good. I just learned about the bike today and was interested in it, but this seems like some serious quality control issues to me. Pity. Back to the drawing board on a classic styled scooter with modern internals. Sigh.
Was searching to see if there was an online manual for the 150-18 as i seem to have mislaid mine and found this blog. Have to say--my gas gauge doesn't work either. Hmmm.
Otherwise, so far so good on mine, but i only have about 110 miles on mine.
Last post was back in August--any updates?
Their is no online manual that I know of for this scooter.
