I am now at 280 miles.
It has used half a quart of oil. It looks like the engine is bad. The seat is also starting to rip at the seams.
Time to take it in for some warranty work.

More Problems
I now have 160 miles on the scooter.
1. It is starting to squeak from the transmission/engine area when I am at a stop light.
2. Every time I start from a dead stop I am getting some pre-igniting from the engine.
3. The left break lever is starting to go a little soft.
I hope I can make my 500 mile service before I have to bring it in.

Just Drove It Home
I picked up my scooter today. I had some problems with it dieing when I stopped at stop lights. I took it back and had them increase the idle. The idle is not very smooth on this scooter.
I found out the hard way that you have to hold the break lever in if you want to start it.
The gas mileage seems to be as advertised: 75 Mpg. I will put some more accurate numbers up as I use it a bit more.
One interesting thing about the fit of the scooter. The ring where the mirrors connect to the handle bars can be moved back and forth a bit even when these rings are tightly secured.
It looks like the scooter maxes out at 50MPH with me on it. I am 6'2" 225 Pounds.
The ride of the scooter seems to be nicer than my older Chetak. The Cheng Shin C922 tires are much better starter tires than the tires that came on my Chetak.

The Purchase
Today I purchased my second scooter.
My old scooter was a Silver 2006 Bajaj Chetak.
The Chetak was a good scooter, but I got tired of shifting and things rattling off of it. It is still running great and I should be able to sell it for what I paid for my new scooter.
My new scooter is a Red Argo 150-18.
I purchased it at a local dealer in Sacramento.
Tomorrow I hope to pick up my new scooter and then I will share my experiences with this scooter in this blog.

They had a really great deal on this scooter $1599. They threw in a helmet of your choice for free as long as it was under $100 retail. My out the door price was $1849 with tax and license.Tomorrow I hope to pick up my new scooter and then I will share my experiences with this scooter in this blog.
Enjoy!
